Statement of Faith
I believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. I believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal returning power and glory.
I believe that eternal salvation comes through faith alone, in Christ alone, by His sacrifice on the cross alone, not as a result of works. That it is by His Grace alone that we are made pure and righteous in His sight because of the saving blood of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. I believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. And I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to bear fruit to the glory of God.
I believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that those that are saved by faith in Christ are saved into the resurrection of life with the Lord in glory and with blessing for eternity. And that those who are lost are lost unto the eternal conscious separation with the Lord and will await the resurrection of his body to everlasting judgment and condemnation.
I believe that we are called to each put our own faith in Jesus Christ and therefore, I am also called to gently encourage all to do so themselves until I, myself am called "home" to be with Him in eternity.
